WHEN & WHAT:

  • Thu Jan 27 - Singles for Pro Men & Women, as well as Sr. Pro Men & Women.
  • Fri Jan 28 - Pro Mixed Doubles; Sr. Pro Men's & Women's Doubles; Celebrity Pro-Am featuring Larry Fitzgerald vs. Michael Phelps!
  • Sat Jan 29 - Pro Women's Doubles & Pro Men's Doubles; Sr. Pro Mixed Doubles.
  • Sun Jan 30 - Championship Sunday!!!

HOW TO WATCH:

  • All matches Thursday - Saturday matches will be streamed to PPA’s YouTube channel and PPA’s Facebook page from, I believe, 12pm ET / 9am PT until approx 7pm ET / 4pm PT.  (Subscribe to this website or refresh this page for updates as I get them.)
  • The Celebrity Pro-Am on Friday evening will also be streamed to PPA’s YouTube channel and PPA’s Facebook page, starting at 9pm ET / 6pm PT. Rumor has it that Ben Johns, Anna Leigh Waters, Matt Wright, and Lucy Kovalova will be helping out with Team Fitzgerald and Team Phelps.  Should be quite fun!  Tickets to attend in person available here.  (Might we even see a return of DJ Pickle?)
Fitz vs. Phelps
  • Championship Sunday is tentatively scheduled to begin early, at approx 10am ET / 7am PT.  Flow of the matches is not yet known.  And I'm not sure entirely sure where the broadcast will be and when, though I believe some, perhaps all, of it will be exclusively on Fox Sports 2. (How to Watch FS2)
  • All Championship Sunday matches are best 3 out of 5, and feature the only two unbeaten teams in the bracket.

TIDBITS OF INTEREST:

  • This tournament will be played at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort in Phoenix, AZ, right here in my home town!  Center Court will have seating for about 500 guests, and I think it's gonna be a rocking weekend!
  • Weather forecast for Phoenix looks absolutely gorgeous good...a crisp high 40s to warm low 70s.  No sign of rain!
  • PPA made my job a lot easier by announcing the draws for each of the brackets, so I'll just let you peruse those here, and then give just a brief mention of some exciting NEW partnerships that we'll be seeing for the first time this weekend:
  • On the men's side, Matt Wright & Riley Newman (1 seed), Tyson McGuffin & Jay Devilliers (3 seed), Patrick Smith & Rob Nunnery (4 seed).
  • On the women's side, Lucy Kovalova & Callie Smith (1 seed).
  • In Mixed, Anna Leigh Waters & Ben Johns (3 seed).
