APP Atlanta Open: Fri Sep 17 - Sun Sep 19, 2021 (Recap)
First of all, apologies for my confusion last week – in my announcements, I linked to APP's YouTube & Facebook pages because I thought that's where the APP Atlanta Open would be broadcast.
But then on Friday, I learned that this APP tournament was held in partnership with USA Pickleball as a part of USAP's National Championship series, therefore it was broadcast on USA Pickleball's YouTube Channel and USAP Pickleball's Facebook page. (And all matches after 4pm ET were broadcast exclusively on ESPN+)
So to rewatch the early matches on Center Court #1 and Center Court #2, find those on USA Pickleball's YouTube Channel. (I'm not sure if the late afternoon matches are archived on ESPN+, or only available live? Ways to watch ESPN+)

- Thx to Slim & Gritty, I learned late Thursday night that world #1 ranked Ben Johns is a very late entrant into this tournament, competing in Mixed with Lauren Stratman on Friday, Men's Doubles on Saturday with his brother, Collin Johns, and Singles on Sunday.
- Mixed Doubles (Friday) has a field of 23 teams. A few of the likely favorites include Ben Johns & Lauren Stratman, Corrine Carr & Adam Stone, Andrea Koop & Zane Navratil, Michelle Esquivel & Rob Nunnery, Susannah Barr & Rob Cassidy, Sarah Ansboury & Rafa Hewett, Jw Johnson & Lee Whitwell, and Katie Dyer & Altaf Merchant.
